Design Process

For the best results, we prefer print-ready files such as AI, PDF, CDR, and layered PSD. It's important that text is converted to outlines and that images are either embedded in the file or sent separately. This prevents any loss of quality during printing.

Yes. The designs you upload are reviewed against basic technical criteria before printing. If we spot an issue with resolution, bleed, safe area, font size, or file structure, we'll let you know. We can also help with the edits if needed.

If there's a design example you like, just send us the image. Our team can create a similar design tailored to your transparent card at no charge. It's a practical option for customers who don't already have a finished design.

With our online editor, you can pick one of the ready-made templates or start a design from scratch. You can add text, a logo, and images, and easily adjust the layout and colors. You don't need to know a professional design program to use it.

Yes. We offer professional graphic design support for your business card. Our team can help you create clean, effective work that fits your brand identity. We can refine your existing design or build a new one from scratch.

For the best print result, we recommend using a vector logo. Files like AI, EPS, SVG, and vector PDF don't lose quality even when scaled. Pixel-based images, on the other hand, can look blurry in print if they aren't high enough resolution.

A few technical details matter when designing a transparent card. Because the background is transparent, white ink can be used in the relevant areas if you want text or images to stand out more clearly. If you want a more see-through effect, that layer can be left out. You should also leave a 3 mm bleed and keep important elements at least 6 mm in from the edges. For readability, we recommend avoiding text smaller than 6–7 points.

White ink printing is an underlayer that makes colors on transparent material look more vivid, sharp, and opaque. It's often used for logos, text, icons, and QR codes, where readability is critical. If you want a more transparent look, it can be left out.

No. There can be slight tonal differences between the color you see on screen and the printed result. This comes down to screen light, the printing system, and the nature of the transparent material. Colors can look lighter and more transparent, especially in areas where white ink isn't used.

For clean cutting and crisp printing, you should leave a 3 mm bleed around the design. Text, logos, and other important elements should sit at least 5–6 mm in from the finished card edge. This area creates a safe zone against small cutting shifts.

For readability, we recommend a minimum of 7 points. For prominent details like your name and title, 9–13 points works well, while 7–9 points is usually right for contact information. It's also helpful to avoid very thin or overly complex fonts.

On a business card, what matters isn't how many images you use but where you place the content. Too many graphics and images can clutter the design and hurt readability. A cleaner, more balanced, purposeful layout usually delivers a stronger result.

Yes—especially in industries where digital visibility matters, social media details can have a place on your card. In design, consulting, digital marketing, and creative work, this information can make you more accessible.

Yes, a QR code can be added. For the most reliable scanning, we recommend placing the QR code on a white background and leaving enough clear space around it.

You can generate a QR code with various online tools or apps. You can link to a website, contact details, a social media profile, or a digital business card. For the best print result, we recommend a high-resolution code—ideally in vector format—positioned on a white background within the design.
